In 2015, IEP began promoting “INTERELECTRIC” Joint Internationalization Projects, as part of the internationalization and international promotion plan. Such projects are supported by the European Structural and Investment Funds of the European Union and by the Competitive and Internationalization Operational Program – COMPETE, funded by the Portuguese government.
These projects aim to stimulate internationalization and promote Portuguese SMEs and their products across borders.
It includes enterprises from all activity sectors, with a greater focus on the electric and electronic sector. It comprises a set of collective actions, namely fairs and business missions, promoted by IEP, which enterprises join and participate in, with the goal of promoting products and services, internationally.
Regarding Community funds, there is also support in the preparation of individual and / or joint applications for different areas (Qualification and Innovation, Internationalization and Vouchers), and their implementation.
