CE Marking

CE-marking on products is evidence of their compliance with all applicable Community directives. Attaching the CE marking is to the products is the responsibility of manufacturers or importing countries, if they are manufactured outside the European Economic Area (EEA). 

It should be noted that CE marking is required for the circulation and sale of products within the EEA. A product is only exempt from this requirement when there are no directives applicable to it.  

IEP is certified to carry out many tests with a view to granting the CE marking and has the necessary means to carry out all tests applicable to electrical equipment and material, electronic devices and household appliances. 

In addition to testing, the IEP helps companies meet other CE marking requirements such as the construction of technical files and the implementation of production control systems.
