CE-marked products is evidence of their compliance with all applicable the Community directives. The CE marking is to be affixed to the products by manufacturers or importing countries, if they are manufactured outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
It should be noted that CE marking is required for products to be traded and sold within the EEA. A product is only exempt from this requirement when there are no applicable directives.
IEP is certified to carry out a large number of tests in order regarding the CE marking, with the necessary means to carry out all tests applicable to electrical equipment and material, electronic devices and household appliances.
In addition to testing, the IEP helps companies with responding to other CE marking requirements such as the construction of technical dossiers or the implementation of production control systems.
