Standardization

IEP is qualified by the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ) to act as a Standardization Body for the electrotechnical area. As a Standardization Body, IEP coordinates the Technical Committees for Electrotechnical Standardization, in which several entities are represented, in order to ensure their operation and the fulfillment of their duties, namely the issue of reports on European standardizing documents which, at a later time, will give way to IEC and CENELEC standards as well as the drafting of Portuguese standards and standards projects.

IEP has a specific website for Standardization with the aim of contributing to better and greater promotion of the activities carried out in this area.
