Since 2015, IEP has managed joint internationalisation projects under the “INTERELECTRIC” initiative, part of its international promotion strategy supported by the EU Structural and Investment Funds and the COMPETE operational programme.

These projects aim to boost the international presence of Portuguese SMEs and their products. They encompass collective actions—such as trade fairs and business missions—organised by IEP for participating companies, to promote their offerings abroad.

Under EU funding, IEP also provides support to organizations in preparing and executing individual or group funding applications across areas including Innovation & Qualification, Internationalisation and Vouchers.
